Hangover Hill Presents 2024/2025 Events

We run a series of events in different venues giving artists a chance to perform full sets of their original material to a paying audience. We include all genres and anything from solos and duos to full bands. Below is a list of our upcoming events.

Revenant
Formed in 2023 Revenant bring a huge rock sound with a southern spin. Their debut E.P ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ received critical acclaim in 2024 and they are making huge waves on the live circuit. Labelled as ‘ones not to be missed’ with ‘One of the best guitar releases of 2024’ Revenant might just become your favourite new band.

Carley Varley
Carley Varley (named after the lead vocalist) is an Alternative Rock band based in the South Coast UK. Formed in 2023 the band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Carley Varley, guitarist Alex Tompkins, bassist Jordan Shepherd and drummer Fred Sedgeley. Carley’s original songs are packed with emotion and she can entrance any audience with her storytelling. Their Homesick EP garnered much radio support and we can’t wait to see what they do next.
Who’s Amy?
Who’s Amy? is a Horror-Punk band from Bournemouth, blending horror themes with upbeat
guitar riffs and catchy melodies. Influenced by New Wave, Pop Punk, Indie, Metal, and even
Musical Theatre, their eclectic sound keeps listeners guessing and craving more.
Their debut EP Graveyard Shift was released in March 2023. Following a brief hiatus, Who’s
Amy? is back in the studio, crafting a new EP that promises to enchant and surprise their
fans once more.

Daytura are a 5 piece enigmatic Classic rock & Blues Band. Reminiscent of Fleetwood mac , Led Zeppelin and Neil Young’s golden era of rock. They have burst onto the scene over the past year releasing multiple singles, gaining national radio exposure (bbc and others), performing a festival tour with Main Stage and Headline appearances over the summer (Teddy Rocks, Ragcity, Purify, HomeFarm Fest, NFFF24 , VDUB , The Anvil, Bear Cave, The Troubadour, The Railway, APP FEST) Daytura are now ramping up towards a forthcoming EP and tour for 2025!
Dvrk Romantics Dvrk Romantics is turning heads in the UK with their electrifying live shows, from BBC Introducing to supporting Man on Man. Think No Doubt, Stevie Nicks, The Cardigans, and ’80s pop thrown into a blender — that’s the unique mix of rock, pop, and soul they bring to the table. At the heart of Dvrk Romantics are Micky Waters and Rachel DiBiaso. Micky, bassist from ‘The Answer’ adds his gritty guitar riffs and production magic, while Rachel’s vocals, a blend of Lana Del Rey and Gwen Stefani, bring a captivating, sultry edge. Together, they lead a dynamic five-piece band with undeniable chemistry. Their music has already made waves, featured in Nick Frost & James Acaster’s ‘Seize Them!’ and getting love from BBC Solent Live Lounge and BBC Introducing. They’re planning European shows and a stripped-back EP, showcasing their versatile sound.
Ribble Two Northern men, a fiddle, a guitar, and a large beard. So far, so what? Well, add in a 90s drum synth, some mighty arrangements of meaty fiddle tunes, some songs, some wrong turns, battle scars earned busking the streets of Salisbury, a barrowload of inane banter and the feeling that your mad rum-soaked uncle is roaring at you to dance on the tables, then you’re getting close to what Ribble offer.

The Original Music Awards Dorset is an annual event created by Hangover Hill, celebrating those who work in the original music sector in the county. This includes musicians, promoters, venues and backstage crew to name a few.

Regional One Based in Bournemouth their music is inspired by modern giants Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, Black Stone Cherry, and Muse, all the way back to classic legends such as Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath. Combining these influences with their own original and twisted sounds, Regional One boast a highly theatrical and exhilarating stage show. ​In 2023 they released their ‘Hero’ EP to a sold out hometown crowd followed by multiple headline shows around the South-West. “Hero” was recorded with and produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Florence Black, Nova Twins) of Long Wave Studios. The Now Hailing from South Wales this energetic 5 piece are made up of Shane Callaghan (lead vocals/guitar), Callum Bromage (guitar/ vocals), Jay Evans on (bass/vocals), Will Scott (drums) and Sam Curtis (keyboards). As a live band they ensure that you will see one of the best shows around. Their hooky, instantly relatable music has been featured as a Planet Rock Track of The Week, on ITV, BBC Radio 2 Johnnie Walker Show and Sky Sports to name a few. The stunning debut album was recorded at the highly renowned Real World Studios and produced by Grammy Award winning Oli Jacobs, (Peter Gabriel, The 1975). Having recently opened for Feeder to sold out crowds the band have shared the stage with heroes in Placebo, Noel Gallagher, Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes, in addition to a rapturous reception at The Isle of Wight Festival and a fantastic ovation at Planet Rockstock. They are on a mission to leave no head left unturned with a local festival appearance at Station 18 Swansea followed by more shows and ventures to Europe to be announced.
Longstay This Southern rock/Americana band from Perth, Scotland are renowned for their electrifying performances and captivating sound. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Creedence Clearwater Revival, Eagles, through to more contemporary acts like Counting Crows, and Jason Isbell, their music reflects a deep appreciation for Americana traditions while incorporating modern elements, creating a sound that is uniquely their own.
