Hangover Hill Presents 2025/2026 Events

We run a series of events giving artists a chance to perform full sets of their original material to a paying audience, with the odd festival and covers gig thrown in. We include all genres and anything from solos and duos to full bands. Below is a list of our upcoming events.

Live And Unheard November

Our final show of the year at Lighthouse features Tarraska (Dorset), Love Is Enough (Salisbury) and emerging under 18 artist Chasing Leaves. Tickets on sale 10am on Friday 23rd May https://www.lighthousepoole.co.uk/event/live-and-unheard-november-2025/

Tarraska hailing from the south coast of England the core of the band have been giggingacoustically from 2014 and steadily wrote and played their original material. This includedhundreds of performances at a multitude of venues and a major festival appearance. As theystarted recording in 2019, the tracks demanded a heavier sound and TARRASKA was born.Their original acoustic/electric duo was formed in May 2014 by lifelong friends Ben Parker (LeadGuitar) and Jack Lande (Vocals and Guitar) and June 2022 saw Tarraska take to the stage as a 4 piece band with Allan Varnfield on drums and Oliver Lande on bass.Due to other commitments, Tarraska took a break in 2024 and 2025 will see their return to stagesand the writing process of new material.
Love Is Enough are a collaboration between three musicians who grew up around the sleepy city of Salisbury:
Cameron Walker, Thor Porter and Ben Whatsley.

Love Is Enough wear their hearts of gold proudly on their sleeves but are also not afraid to visit the far darker places in
love and life.
Cam’s clever lyrics are wrapped up in gorgeous vocal melodies, then drenched in dreamy vocal harmonies which
enchant and resonate with each listener for a very personal and unique experience.
Love Is Enough have been capturing hearts at every stop with their energetic live performances and stunning studio
releases – “You’ll be stuck with these tunes in your head for weeks!!”
Zara (Chasing Leaves) is a young, up-and-coming singer, songwriter, and musician from Poole, with a passion for live performance. Now seventeen, she has been playing a variety of instruments since she was six years old and, for the last couple of years, has been writing, recording and producing her own lyrics/music and the very backing tracks that she performs along to. Inspired by many artists ranging from Dua Lipa and Becky Hill to Hozier and Ed Sheeran, but looking forward, it is now time to make her mark within the music industry.

Ben Waters
“Key shattering Boogie Woogie” is how the Guardian newspaper described Ben Waters after a concert at Ronnie Scott’s—known for energetic performances and powerful renditions of early boogie-woogie and Rock n’ Roll. Waters always plays music that he loves, the music of his heroes Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Amos Milburn, Little Richard, Ian Stewart and a host of other piano players. This is the music that makes him happy! This is why he dropped out of school to go on tour with Shakin Stevens. This is why he has devoted 35 years to touring the world, a devotion that’s not about fame, money or popularity, just about a love of music!
The Outlaw Orchestra
Three accomplished musicians from the south coast of the UK exuding the Saturday night hell raising escapism of the weekend. At home on any stage in any venue with Slide guitar, Pedal Steel guitar, Banjo, gravel vocals and solid thumping drums delivering original catchy hard rocking songs about everyday life laced with deep south spirits and delivered with a British rock n Roll sense of humour.
They drew the biggest crowd ever at Ramblin Man’s Rising stage. They pulled the largest outdoor crowd at Custom Rock n Blues Bike festival since Motorhead. Invited countless times to grace the Sheffield 02 stage, Sheffield Bowl and Planet Rock stages. They have supported Skid Row, The Dead Daisies, The Darkness, Brothers Osbourne, Phil Campbell of Motorhead on tour, Reef, The Kentucky Headhunters and so many more.

Chris Payn & The Parade
Chris Payn is a dynamic rock/pop artist whose musical genius shines through his electrifying vocals and multi-instrumental prowess, carving out a distinctive niche for himself as a captivating performer. His songwriting reflects an honest and vulnerable perception of humanity, the hope of unity, and the pursuit of dreams, using sounds remnant of classic rock influences before his time such as Meat Loaf, Queen and David Bowie uniquely blended with fresh sprinkles of the pop world from anywhere between Prince and The 1975. With his amazingly talented full band line-up ‘Chris Payn & The Parade’, his undeniable songs are brought to life promising a high-energy, explosive and captivating spectacle of a show that you won’t forget!
